Okanagan Fest of Ale 2026
The 26th annual Fest of Ale returns — two days of craft beer, cider, and BC brewery showcases. New this year: Friday night runs until 10 PM with live entertainment included in your ticket. Each ticket includes two tasting tokens and a glass. Saturday brings the full festival experience. Single-day from $57, two-day passes from $77.
Get Tickets SportsPenticton Vees — WHL Playoff Run
In their inaugural WHL season, the Vees are deep in the playoffs after sweeping the Seattle Thunderbirds 4–1 in Round 1. Home games continue at the SOEC throughout April — expect electric energy, packed crowds, and historic moments. Check the WHL website for the full second-round schedule and ticket info.
Playoff Schedule Food & WineOsoyoos Oyster Festival 2026
Two evenings of fresh BC oysters paired with South Okanagan wine. Friday’s Sip & Shuck at the Osoyoos Golf Club (5–7:30 PM) features live shucking, local wine pours, and live music. Saturday’s Pearl in the Desert Gala at Walnut Beach Resort (6–9:30 PM) elevates the evening with Okanagan spirits and fine fare. A distinctly South Okanagan event.
Festival Details MarketPenticton Farmers’ Market — Season Opener
After a winter off, Penticton’s beloved Farmers’ Market returns to Main Street on Saturday April 18 — and then every Saturday through October 31. Fresh produce, local vendors, artisan goods, and that great downtown morning vibe. One of Penticton’s most anticipated seasonal traditions since 1991.

The beloved family Easter tradition returns for its fifth year. Kids hunt for eggs, prizes, and seasonal surprises at the Safety Village. A free, fun outing for Penticton families.
A brand-new spring market set inside the Lakeside Resort’s East Ballroom. Local vendors, artisans, and makers welcome the season. A great Easter Saturday outing right on the lakeshore.
Oliver & District Recreation and Oliver Ambassadors host age-grouped hunts: toddlers (10:30 AM), ages 5–7 and 8–12 (10:45 AM). Kids 8–12 hunt for six special stamps across the park. Tickets $8, pre-registration recommended.
Celebrating 20 years on Black Sage Bench with an adults-only Easter egg hunt through the vineyard. Hidden eggs, wine tasting stations, trivia, team events, and a charcuterie social to close out. Ticket includes a welcome mimosa and tastings. Grab a group.
The District Wine Village joins the Easter Weekend fun with its own adult egg hunt experience across the village’s collection of South Okanagan wineries. A great way to explore multiple estates in one afternoon. Check the Village website for tickets and timing.
The Kelowna Farmers’ & Crafters’ Market kicks off its 2026 outdoor season on April 4 at the Landmark District. Fresh produce, handmade goods, local food, and community energy — every Saturday through the season. One of the Okanagan’s best weekly markets.
Oliver & District Recreation hosts this Easter long weekend disc golf doubles event — 18 holes over two rounds, best-shot format. Divisions for amateur, novice, and intermediate players. Prizes for lowest score, longest putt, and closest to the pin. Register by division online.
BC’s favourite craft beer festival hits 26 years. Friday evening runs until 10 PM with live entertainment. Saturday is the full festival day. Each ticket includes two tokens and a tasting glass. Additional tokens available onsite at $3 each. Tickets at ValleyFirstTix.com.
The Vees take the ice at the SOEC for the opening home game of Round 2 — their first-ever WHL second-round appearance. After sweeping Seattle in Round 1, the city is buzzing. Check WHL.ca for opponent and confirmed start time. This is a piece of Penticton hockey history.
The Okanagan Symphony returns to the Cleland Theatre for a spring performance. A beautiful evening of live orchestral music in an intimate setting. Check the OSO website or Visit Penticton for the full program and ticket details.
The Town of Oliver honours its community volunteers at this annual appreciation lunch. The 21st edition presents awards including the Community Roots Award and Community Builder Award. Mayor and Council thank the volunteers who make Oliver what it is.
Opening night of the Osoyoos Oyster Festival. Fresh BC oysters shucked on site, Okanagan wine poured direct from the wineries, and live music setting the mood. A relaxed Friday evening on the golf course as wine country season officially opens.
The Oyster Festival’s signature Saturday Gala at Walnut Beach Resort. More oysters, South Okanagan food, Okanagan spirits, and a beautiful lakeside venue to close out the weekend. Dress up and make a proper night of it.
The wait is over — Penticton’s iconic Saturday Farmers’ Market returns to Main Street for its 2026 season. Running every Saturday through October 31, this is the social and culinary heartbeat of downtown Penticton. Opening day always draws a crowd.
The Vees playoff run continues at the SOEC. In their debut WHL season, Penticton is deep in the post-season and the city is rallying behind them. Check WHL.ca for confirmed opponent, game number, and start time — the schedule shifts with series results.
Second scheduled home game of the WHL Conference Finals round at the SOEC. If the Vees are still in the hunt, this is must-see playoff hockey. Confirm ticket availability through ValleyFirstTix.com or the WHL website closer to game day.
Fireside Fridays — Backroads Brewing Co.
Cozy Friday evenings at Osoyoos’s craft brewery. Great beer, good atmosphere, and a warm spot to close out the week in wine country. The perfect low-key wind-down as the South Okanagan starts warming up.
Firehall Open Mic & Jam Night
Local musicians take the stage at Oliver’s beloved Firehall Brewery brewpub. A South Okanagan staple for live, unplugged local talent. Come as you are, stay for the music.
Music Bingo — Backroads Brewing Co.
A fun weekly twist on bingo with a musical edge. Great for a casual weeknight out in Osoyoos — grab a pint and see if you can spot the song before anyone else.
Wine & Song Wednesdays — Maestro’s
50% off bottles of wine every Wednesday with live Okanagan talent performing 6–8 PM on Lakeshore Road. A midweek treat that’s become a local favourite.
